Update on COVID-19 and your pet

To our Knoll Animal Hospital Pet Parents,

Due to the additional concerns and questions many of our clients have regarding their pets and how the novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) could potentially impact them, we felt it was important to reconnect with you.

As a medical facility, we want to be available to our clients and patients. As we continue to follow the recommendations regarding COVID-19, we do ask that if you are displaying any symptoms of respiratory disease, that you call us first to determine what our best approach is for your family, your pet, and our team so we can continue to serve our clients through this pandemic.

As of March 15th, 2020, the AVMA (American Veterinary Medical Association) is recommending that we delay all routine procedures for at least an 8 week period to lessen human-to-human contact as well as lessen the use of medical supplies in the event of the current situation worsening. Routine procedures include wellness visits, annual vaccinations, nail trims, and other voluntary procedures. As of March 16th, 2020, we are still equipped to handle medical appointments and emergencies. However, we ask that you please call Knoll Animal Hospital to schedule the appointment and be further advised on some of our new protocols during this difficult time. We have also taken the following steps:

  • Home delivery for food and medication through our online pharmacy

  • Telephone/Video consultations

  • Curbside services for necessary medication pickups with over-the-phone payment

We will continue to keep all of our Knoll Animal Hospital Pet Parents updated on any regulations or changes affecting the hospital through email as well as social media. Please continue to check back for updates. As always, please contact us at (630) 668 – 1748 with any questions or concerns. Stay safe and stay healthy.

Warm regards,

The Careteam at Knoll Animal Hospital
